Today, my mother topped someone's story of their child's problems by saying I'm on drugs. This resulted in people showing up to stage an intervention for me. She made the whole thing up and I've never used drugs, but no one believes me. FML

Today, my mom and step-dad tore my room apart looking for the stash of drugs they thought I had. I've never touched drugs in my life, and I guess they believe me now. Didn't stop them from making me clean up the mess they made, though. FML

Today, my family staged an intervention and demanded I go to rehab. Why? My mom found 'drug papers' in my car. It was a receipt from a routine drug screening for my job. It was also over two years old. FML

Today my mother met my in-laws for the first time. She had been an alcoholic and had us sent to foster care 15 years ago. My husband told his parents this behind my back a while ago. When they asked her about it, she denied everything. His entire family now thinks I lie for attention. FML

Today, my psycho mom walked in while I was chilling and having fun with some friends. She kicked them out and now wants to drug test me, because, "Nobody's that happy without drugs." FML

Today, my mother took a bunch of sleeping pills, then went driving. I followed her and dialed 911. Now she thinks that I was "trying to get her arrested," and she refuses to talk to me ever again. FML

If it were me, I'd get a hair test done. You can order a test kit and the results will prove beyond doubt that you haven't used any drugs for at lest 90 days or more. More importantly, it will prove your mom a liar. People will not be incline to believe her the next time she makes up some life wrecking bullshit about you just to get attention.

That actually sounds like a good idea, if they still believe you are on drugs and they stage another intervention you should "break down" and admit how your mom is your dealer and the person that got you hooked but you love her and didn't want to get her in trouble lol.

Similar to a friend that got married at 18 because she was in love. Her mom told everyone that my friend was pregnant and then the mom turned it all into a "poor me" moment to get all the attention at her daughter's wedding. Her mom is a habitual liar and believes what she says.
