Today, I found out that my dad has a therapist. That's cool. What's cooler is that she's a very nice lady, and even said to ME that I could talk too if I wanted to. Boy, do I want to. But if I did, then she would probably need a therapist herself, and the last thing my dad needs is his therapist needing a therapist. FML

Today, after finally seeing a psychologist about the death of my dad and spending the longest hour of my life confessing every thought I've experienced in the 6 years since his passing, my psychologist asked me if I was walking home or if my dad would be picking me up. FML

Today, my dad told me that people requiring psychiatric treatment are just weak and pathetic, and what they really need is a kick up the ass and to get a fucking grip. He told me this not 30 seconds after my doctor recommended I spend some time in a facility for my severe depression. FML

Today, I found out my dad goes to therapy. Confused, I asked him what was going on. He said, "You" without any hesitation. I don't know if he's joking or not. If he is, I don't find that very funny. If he's not, I don't even know what I've done. FML

A psychologist doesn't necessarily practice psychiatry. That would be like asking a chemist to prescribe medicine.

Yeah you're right. Psychiatrists prescrice medication whilst Phsychologist deal with the mentally unsound to reiterate (spelling is probably off). It was late, getting stuff confused again. Haha my bad.

Wow....Um...Perhaps daddy shouldn't be a psychologist if he doesn't want to listen to that sort of thing? If one isn't exactly a people person or the sort who likes to help people with their issues, one should not persue such careers. That's his fault.
