Don't dump him. That's stupid. But I totally know what you mean.. that has happened to me once or twice.

I agree; don't dump him unless this becomes a consistent thing that he keeps doing, which you can no longer stand. And even if you can stand it, you shouldn't be forcing yourself to stay with this guy. For this particular case, though, it seems that he was in a talkative mood and had a lot to get off his chest. I ramble on at times to different people at different times.

Uh, #3, an hour on the phone is not insane. I spend 3-4 hours a day on the phone with my girlfriend. Also, what other people said. Sometimes people ramble like that. Unless this becomes a common occurrence, just deal with it. I'm sure you do similar things sometimes.

Ugh, that's nasty. If it becomes a representative of his attitudes towards you in general, dump him. If he really thinks that's the way to behave, he isn't really worth it. But if this is the only time and he's usually caring, let it go :D
