Wellthen
This FML is from back in 2016 but it's good stuff
I'm going to make it awkward
Today, I was fired from my job. Not because I don't do a good job but because my boss didn't feel it was appropriate to have an affair with my wife and have to face me everyday. FML

That seems like something you should talk to HR about.

Damn... Did you figure out u were getting cheated on And fired at the same time???

I don't know where you live, since some states are "at will," but if this isn't the case, report him and file for wrongful termination, he clearly has a conflict of interest in the firing. However, I don't know if I'd want that job back, having to work under a total asshole. It might be best to get a break from both of them, get a new job, and ditch your wife. She's low, sleeping with your boss and basically a contributor to getting you fired, she's not worth it, you can find someone better.

Even in an at will state, this is unacceptable. OP could sue for wrongful termination. He could sue for conflict if interest.

Well that's actually good to hear. I've just always heard in at will states you can be terminated for basically anything that isn't some kind of discrimination. I'm glad there's exceptions to ridiculous circumstances such as this.

At-will only means they can terminate you at any point and not have to give you a reason. They don't have to give you notice or severance or anything else, just say buh-bye. But they can't terminate you in violation of the labor laws at the state/Fed level. you can sue for wrongful termination.

And that's when you sue over wrongful termination

You want to do this right? Alright here's how you do it, ignore the please from your ***** (soon ex) wife, she's nothing now. Go have sex with her mother, and then wait in the parking lot to rough up your boss. I''m not talking smash his face, but enough to where when he goes into work people will stare and ask why his face looks like hamburger meat.
