Today, I was fired from my job. Not because I don't do a good job but because my boss didn't feel it was appropriate to have an affair with my wife and have to face me everyday. FML

Screw human resources, it's time to break out the lawyers. HR is very unlikely to rule in an employee's favour and is only there to protect the company's interests. Firing a manager because he had an affair with an employee's spouse is not the kind of publicity you want.

Possibly wanna look into getting a lawyer. I THINK you can sue for wrongful termination or something along those lines

That's a unethical reason to get fired and violates some laws In certain states. I would go to court
