Today, while stocking the shelves, a customer demanded I ring up his stuff. I’m not a cashier and therefore don’t have a login code to do so, so I told him as such. He then pulled out a knife and threatened to stab me if I didn’t ring him up. I’m currently writing this from the ER. FML

Today, at the supermarket, a man collapsed. I gave CPR while the cashier called for help. During this, the other patrons were complaining that no other register was open. Once the ambulance arrived, I returned to my cart to find items removed and 40 dollars taken from my purse. FML

Today, at work as a cashier, a guy came up with a cart full of stuff and it took me 10 minutes to ring it all up. When I told him his total, he felt his pockets, said, "Oh shit, I forgot my wallet!" and walked off. He left about 15 bags worth of things for me to put back. FML

Today, I offered help a customer to record his details, as he didn't have a scanner. He just stared at me, saying that he would never give any of his details if I typed them on my phone, as I could "do something else" without him knowing. He ended up canceling his orders and got upset on his way out. FML

Today, I was ringing up a lady’s items; two shoeboxes. Per policy, I’m supposed to open them. She heavily insisted I didn’t. I ignored her and found other merchandise inside. She then went on a rant on how "people should mind their own fucking business" and stormed out of the store without buying. FML

Hell nah. There better be security cameras that captured this moment so the ************ can get arrested and do some serious time. OP, I'm sorry you got attacked. That's terrible. I pray justice is served and that criminal with too many screws loose gets what he deserves. This is traumatic and awful. Maybe there should be a gun behind that counter to kill punk ass jerks like that. (The YDI option should be disabled for FMLs like this. You definitely do not deserve this)

Jesus... if the jackass wanted the item(s) that badly, he should have just stolen it. The punishment/charge would be much less severe than what he did to you. FYL indeed.
