Bureaucracy

Today, I ran out of my antidepressants, and I cannot get more because my local hospital is closed, and I can't register online because the only way it will let me sign up is over the phone, due to me living in a rural area. I'm mute. FML

if you go to a local pharmacy with the prescription they may give you a few days supply until you can get more. I've done that and it really really made a difference.

Do they have an email address or web chat based system? Otherwise A neighbour or someone could call on your behalf. Their service fails on accessibility!

Microsoft Sam Text-To-Speech program, Position the speakers blasting directly into the phone's headset.

Open with the line "I am mute and am using a text to speech program to communicate" so they know you're not a prank-caller or something, and then go on from there.

There are solutions to your problem. You don't just have to not have medicine.
