Today, my boyfriend refused to have sex with me because I have ass acne. The reason I have ass acne is from working out to lose weight. I was trying to lose weight because he wouldn't have sex with me because I was too fat. I can't win. FML

Today, I find why my long term boyfriend has not been interested in sex for the last 3 months. It’s because I’m fat. While I could probably lose a few, I am not obese and I am the one that has lead healthy eating and exercise in our house. FML

Encouraging a partner to lose weight for looks alone should be illegal ffs. For health? sure. I want my man to stay with me and our family as long as possible, so I cook healthier food for him and encourage him to make better choices, but I dont criticize him or make him feel bad. he knows I love him and hope to avoid more health scares, and that it's not at all about how he looks. Honestly... for any person to treat a partner the way OP's does, they must be seriously mentally ill, or they don't plan to have that person around forever. Cut him loose OP.

This. Totally This. After I got married my life totally turned around health wise because my wife was incredibly supportive and made sure that we had healthy food and snacks in the house. It Literally saved my life.
