Big mistake

By AccidentalToiletSpy - This FML is from back in 2018 but it's good stuff

Today, in the bathroom at work, I heard two co-workers enter and begin a very private discussion. Not wanting to embarrass either of them, I figured I'd sit quietly until they left. Big mistake. They talked for an hour and a half. I couldn't feel my legs. FML

I’m just wondering what company you work for where it’s okay for three employees to be absent for an hour and a half and not be worried about being reprimanded lol

Ummm...what did you think the bathroom is for? How would you using the bathroom for its intended purpose be rude or in any way inappropriate?

Honestly, I've worked for a big company before where you're pretty independent. You could really do whatever you wanted, at the end of the month if your numbers weren't good, that was on you. Also, most corporate jobs don't have assigned lunch times, so they could have easily been out to lunch and no one is monitoring it.

You must work for the same company I do. I usually take 3 hour lunches followed by a nap, instead of sitting in a bathroom tho

Did ya have to crawl out of the stall cause you couldn't walk 🤣🤣

I would have farted really loud to let them know they weren't alone

That's quite the power move. Respect.

I would’ve said something like, “hey guys, I’m trying to concentrate in here!” Or, you know, coughed or farted as soon as you realized it was a private convo.

Not so private after all since you were eavesdropping... It's a YDI.

That would've been the perfect moment to fart loudly to assert your dominance over the domain.

Where? I would like to apply to a place you can disappear for an hour and a half and not get fired

Any big company. Preferably a union. I disappeared while getting paid at UPS all the time when I worked there
