Today, I realised I need to grow up when I couldn’t stop laughing throughout a very serious meeting entitled, “Master / Sub Remediation Program.” It’s about electricity meters. FML

I once told a joke at work about "blowing chunks". A few days later, we were on a teleconference with our customer, when my manager quite seriously asked the question, "What happens if the server blows chunks?" One by one, we all remembered the joke and cracked up laughing and the customer had no idea why.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. The kicker was when someone incorrectly referred to a sub-meter as a “slave”. So we had masters and slaves. Couldn’t contain myself
