You knew exactly what you were doing when you started talking to someone on Facebook and set up a date because it was never anything else than that, nor was it meant to be. You had an emotional relationship with this other girl and it culminated in a date and now you act surprised that you have developed feelings. Now go do the right thing and break up with your girlfriend face to face.

It looks like you finally found your soulmate. Break up with your girlfriend before you cheat on her - that would be the most ethical thing to do. Sometimes we meet someone and it just clicks and it feels like magic - it happens. Don’t settle for less and don’t let your girlfriend stop you from finding the one you’re truly meant to be with. If she starts crying and shit when you break up with her, remind her that you’re actually freeing her to find the one she’s meant to be with and it’s better to be with the right person than to settle for less.
