Today, my best friend got engaged. I would be happy for her, if it wasn’t for the fact that her fiancé was my boyfriend just 2 months ago. Upon hearing the news, I severed all ties with her. She ended up bitching me out and calling me selfish for being upset. FML

Sorry this happened to you... Your friend is an idiot if she does not realise how hurt you are and if she thinks her reasoning is totally acceptable... On another note, your ex sounds quite fickle, so your best friend shouldn't be surprised if one day she finds him cheating on her. You dodged a bullet

even if they're broken up, everyone knows that there's still feelings involved. if the bestfriend was dead set on her ex, the least she could do is play the villain and stay away from her.
