OP here. FWIW the car was empty and the windows were all rolled up at the time. I think she was just having a moment. Continuing to smoke while ignoring her really set her off...

I honestly don't like cigarettes but i wont judge... But thats pretty ridiculous that she is bitching at you for smoke touching her car. Really? Does the car have ******* feelings or something?

Smoking drives me bonkers, not gonna lie. This is a little excessive, but maybe you either need to have a talk with her, or you have to respect her boundaries (yup, doesnt have to make sense to you...) people are people and everyone has their thing...

I totally understand this. I once made the mistake of parking my car near people smoking while I ran in the store. Not long later when I left I could still smell the smoke. I don't smoke and can't stand to breathe or smell it.
