Today, while bored at work I was reading an article online about the local zoo and its animals. I received an email so quickly responded, but when signing off accidentally wrote "thanks hippo" instead of "thanks heaps". To a woman with a weight problem. Who also outranks me. FML

"Intentionally wanted"? That's a little redundant. :P

Send an apology email saying it was auto-corrected. Just write: "Sorry, that was supposed to say 'thanks heaps,' sorry for any confusion."

Wow you would be like the only person to actually give real advice.

Several others did as well. I just figured not being a dick would be a decent change of pace.

calm down, apparently this people live under a rock, and in this rock the rest of the world doesn't exist

Un-FYL with 3 words: "Damn you autocorrect!"

you could have been listening to the beatles and signed off "you are the walrus". that would have been worse! you can easily blame this on the computer autocorrect - if your computer has this function. if not then recall the email, or blame a typing error.

explain your situation? Maybe she'll understand... But I don't think she will.
