Today, my wife started her period, and insisted that we miss the eclipse. We were near Nashville (path of totality) but now we're in Ohio. She's in such denial about it, but if she's miserable, she has to make me miserable too. She knows I've been looking forward to the eclipse for years. FML

Aaaand you listened because...? If anything, in your shoes I would have put her in a hotel with movies, food, a heating pad and a bathtub if it meant I got to see it if I had been waiting that long.

Today, while on the treadmill, my iPod fell and shot out underneath my feet. I got off to get it, and when I tried to get back on, I slipped and fell on my face on the moving track. The whole gym watched me get beat up by a treadmill and clapped when I finally got back on. FML

Today, a waiter fucked up by bringing a dessert with engagement ring to our table. My girlfriend started crying and saying, "Yes Yes Yes!" The look on her face when she had to take the ring off and give it back to the other woman… She’s now giving me the silent treatment, even though I did nothing wrong. FML

Today, I turned on the air conditioner in my room, even though it's absolutely freezing in there. Why? To drown about my mom and brother talking.
