Today, my parents came to visit me at the ranch I work at. They're scared to death of horses, but I was explaining how they are almost completely harmless. I was showing them how to work around the horse without getting kicked. As they relaxed, the horse kicked me. I now have a broken leg. FML

That sucks. Something similar happened to me once. I was in my playset, showing one of the neighborhood kids how safe and not scary it was up on the upper level and in the covered slide, when I got attacked by a hive of wasps who had made their home up there.

man, that suuuucks. im pretty sure this would be the definition of painful irony. i hope, for the sake of the story, your parents burst out laughing, and then called an ambulance. also, i hope you didnt break your femur, that takes forever to heal and is a total bitch (not that i've ever broken my femur or anything...)

Wow that sucks ,ive been rideing scince i was 7, im 14 now, i was rideing ,my friends horse for her while she was on vacation and he spooked and fell on me , i broke my hip & femur. I feel your pain, literally but im not afraid of horses it still love them. & yes # 11 it is a total bitch

Horses are not completely harmless.. they can kill you.

Yes but so can humans but you dont see everyone being scared of other humans just because they can injure and kill

hahahahah man that sucks, my horse has kicked me in the past, its painful. I love horses, but they can be assholes sometimes.
