Today, I was talking to my girlfriend about how I'm jealous of her best guy friend always hanging around her. She responded by saying, "Wait, I thought you knew I was dating him too?" FML
ttREZZ tells us more :
Well this was my clear things up, we had been dating three years, what we agreed would be exclusive. She met her best guy friend about two years into our relationship and started "dating him too" about four months ago.

ya for real! isnt there a religion or belief where they date two or more people at a time? maybe she believes that way ..
or she could be just a bitch. I cant believe u haven't had the " being exclusive" talk w her. thats usually how u find out the relationship is official. im sorry op...but theyre better people that will commit to only u. have hope.

Threre's a few cultures/religions/societies where polygamy (more than one partner/wife/husband) is practiced. But even if the girlfriend (ex now I hope) does hold the belief that polygamy is a-ok that's no excuse for not talking with her boyfriends about the nature of their relationship. I might even go so far as to say that if she did hold those beliefs she should have known better than to assume others held her beliefs too.

What's more likely is that she's just a bitch.

ya I wasnt saying if she did have that belief that it justifies the entire situation... im just saying maybe thats how she justified it in her own mind for the thing she did. but ya I do think shes just a plain bitch.

#9, I was going to refute most of the points in your comment, but the entire reply is giving me a terminal illness in my eyeballs. Do you even know what an apostrophe is?

So because it's the Internet, you expect to act like an illiterate and not get called out on it? I don't want to be a grammar nazi, but there's only so much stupidity that can be tolerated silently!

Actually, originally it was. We just branched off into humour and stress-relieving anecdotes, because people kept getting uptight and moody at the thought of learning some basic English.

#62, your point is....? Just because it's the Internet doesn't mean you can tlk lyk thiz @łł the tym! Do yuh ræaliže høw støøpid yu lòôk tlking lyk tHiS??

Damn that was hard to do lol it seems like im the only one that made it to college and graduated.

I pride myself on having the look of an outsider, while breaking social stereotypes as well. I may look like a freak, but if you can get past my spiky hair I'm a bit of an intelligent mind. Thanks.

Sure she is ur "girlfriend"?

OP, repeat after me: "It's OKAY to have a sister." Simply having one doesn't make you uncool. It's the embarassing things about you she tells everyone that make you uncool.

Don't pull out the torches and pitchforks on me for saying this, but i sort of get the feeling that OP isn't a guy... 0_0

I have enough friends belonging to some form of sexual minority to have heard horror-stories about eerily similar situations with partners who "though you knew about my other boy/girlfriend".

But what if OP's girlfriend didn't know she was his girlfriend? Some people go on a few dates and then assume they're in a relationship... It's ok to date more than one person while you're single.

#16: I think that #7 understood that point. Since his girlfriend has a "best friend", they were suggesting for him to get a "best friend" as well.

You might want to look up "polyandry" and see if you can deal with it. All I can advise is: Never cross the streams!

I'm pulling for you! I hope you get "pussy" when you guys DP her ;)
