Threre's a few cultures/religions/societies where polygamy (more than one partner/wife/husband) is practiced. But even if the girlfriend (ex now I hope) does hold the belief that polygamy is a-ok that's no excuse for not talking with her boyfriends about the nature of their relationship. I might even go so far as to say that if she did hold those beliefs she should have known better than to assume others held her beliefs too. What's more likely is that she's just a bitch.

But what if OP's girlfriend didn't know she was his girlfriend? Some people go on a few dates and then assume they're in a relationship... It's ok to date more than one person while you're single.
