Today, I was sitting in the cafeteria with my friends when I suddenly passed out due to my hypoglycemia. When I woke up, I discovered that I was still in the same spot and my friends had abandoned me to go to class. Also, my stuff was stolen. FML

Today, I fainted on the sidewalk. When I woke up, I was still lying on the sidewalk, people were stepping over me and my purse was gone. FML
Today, I passed out when my blood sugar dropped. Three times. And each time, my roommate, who was right next to me, just let me fall because he liked the way my face looked. FML
Today, I was working as a stagehand for one of my college classes. I’m diabetic and can’t go without food for more than a few hours. I was told that if I left early, ate anything backstage, or passed out, I would fail the class. I passed out. FML
Today, on the bus, my blood sugar level got too low and I passed out. When I came to, the woman next to me was hitting me, saying she needed to get off and that she didn't have time for my, "stupid fucking prank." FML
Today, I woke up after a night of drinking to find that while I was passed out someone stole my prosthetic leg. FML
Today, I went to the store to buy some groceries. Several hours later I realize that I can't find my wallet. After looking all over my house and then the store parking lot, I had my credit cards cancelled. On the drive home, I feel something under me. It was my wallet. FML
Today, I went to eat out. When I sat down, I realized I forgot my straw. I took my purse with me, not wanting it to get stolen. Someone stole my food instead. FML
Today, I walked to my local McDonald's. I spent the last 7 dollars I had on my meal. As I began to walk back to my dorm, I was mugged. I explained to them I had no money, so they stole my food. FML
Today, I passed out on the way to work. Some lucky passerby took this as an opportunity to help themself to my purse. FML
Today, I went to the doctor for a routine check-up. When the nurse took my blood pressure, I passed out, and fell off the table. FML

hmm.... that totally sucks, ditch those ******* and find new ones ;) i mean, shit, i was at a concert laying down on the sidewalk cuz i was tired and had a headache, and random ass strangers came up asking if they needed to call an ambulance for me.... the fact that your "FRIENDS" couldn't even see if you were OKAY sucks balls and **** them! but also... a friend of mine recently told me that i don't comment anymore on fml... so............ Given that you were already in a cafeteria, why would you let your blood sugar get so low that you fainted?? It may suck that they left you, but you deserve it for being so lax about your condition.

I feel for you - I have hypoglycemia, too, although it's never gotten to the point where I pass out. Get some new friends, but make sure they're ones who actually care about you.

That sucks and you need new friends, but coming from a fellow hypoglycemic - why the heck weren't you eating in the cafeteria? Or carrying around between-class snacks for that matter? FYL for your friends being shitheads but also YDI for neglecting your blood sugar.
