Today I realized I have feelings for my friend's ex. If that wasn't bad enough, the ex is the first person I've ever truly felt romantic attraction towards after years of thinking there was something wrong with me... FML

Talk to your friend. If they are a true friend, they might just understand. After all, it is the ex, not a current partner. Then you can see if that ex has feelings for you, too. If your friend doesn't support you, well, decide who or what is more important to you.
