Today, I ran over a squirrel. I saw it twitching, so I backed over it to end its suffering. It wasn't a squirrel; it was a kitten. The children it belonged to watched as I ran over their kitten. Twice. FML

you did the right thing. even though the kids are ****** up it's better to not let the kitten suffer. RIP KITTY!

If it had been your cat, 101, you should have kept the poor little fuzz ball out of the street in the first place. Of course the OP feels bad, who wouldn't? Way to be an ass and add insult to injury. It happens, its called life.

who ever laughed at this post deserves to be run over by a car I feel bad for those kids who watched their cat be run over but sometimes you can't prevent this from happening But would every everybody react different if it was a squirrel?

You didn't go over to make sure that it deserved to die? That's very irresponsible to just go over it twice because you think that it was hurt! You might have found that it wasn't badly hurt and could have taken it to the vet! Next time check out the scene of the crime dumbass. YDI

If I ran over a kitten, I would be so depressed. I cried when I ran over a little snake in the street with my bike. Running over kittens, especially while the owners (little kids, too), is just…AUGH ?. I feel so sorry.

Oh God... Now I'm going to start watching the road for snakes.... I already don't go on hikes anymore because a friend stepped on a tiny frog while we were hiking.... Well I don't hike in areas densely populated by frogs anyway...
