4th cousins are very distant, and if it is by marriage and not by blood there is no genetic link. Do some research, but there should not be any problem.

From my point of view, this is not an FML. "Cousin by marriage" does not imply any "incest" issues or "too close" DNA ones, when the time comes to have babies.

Oh for gods sake. It's not an issue. You can legally marry your 2nd cousin. However you don't seem to be particularly swift so not sure if you should procreate. ydi
