Today, I felt sad, useless and like I could never achieve anything. To cheer myself up, I wanted to smell some essential orange oil. I couldn't open the bottle. FML

Opening Bottles isn't the only thing that can be accomplished. There's a whole world full of potential. Hey, you even got an FML posted on the homepage! Thats an accomplishment

Do not let your heart be troubled. At least you can spell. :D

Sounds like you have been struck down with a case of muppet arms.

I laughed, sorry.

You're an asshole, sorry.

Some essential oils have a nice and pleasant scent to them. When I smell lilac it brings back nostalgia.

Certain smells can do different things. One of the most common is lavender for calming. Don't really know about oranges

Orange, along with a few other citrus oils, have been used in wholistic medicine as an anti-depressant.

Basically if a smell smells good to you, it will probably make you feel better.

Wish something as simple as that could cheer me up...

Sounds like someone needs a box of kittens.

I feel like the opposite of stressed is depressed. So do more things and put pressure on yourself to succeed.

Your heart is probably in the right place, but pressure and stress actually worsens depression. Doing things step by step actually does help alleviate depression, but "stress", as in feeling overwhelmed by obligations, is a detriment.

I am in an eternal state of both depression and stress so your "feeling" is totally wrong.
