Today, brand new cocktail dress: $300. Matching peep toe heels: $100. Getting my hair done at the salon: $80. Treating myself to a mani/pedi: $50. When finally meeting the guy I have been chatting online with for 2 months, I find out he's my cousin: priceless. FML

Okay I'm the person that wrote this, I wrote it earlier today before I got my account and its one hundered percent true we talked about family we exchanged pics but i had never met him before he was my moms sisters son adn i have never met that part of my family because my mom was disowned for marrying my dad. his last name was my moms maiden name so i didnt think anything of it especially since its a common last name, SMITH. soo yes it may seem ridiculous but its real and awful

I agree with #3. You should have figured it out in 2 months. But after spending $530... you should have ****** him anyway. lol

I find it hard to believe that you've never sent each other pictures. This is either a fake, or YDI for not sending pictures first.

Money you spent: $530. Copyright fine for copying a MasterCard commercial: $X00,000 . Replacing the pants I just ruined laughing at you: $25. The ammount of LOLing i just did: Priceless.

Using the lame mastercard commercial reference that nobody finds funny anymore: even more priceless. "For everything else, there's real humor."

Why would you dress up that much for someone you were chatting with online? Lame.

you guys didn't send pics of each other or anything? damn well at least now you know each other a little better

Oh, come on. This has been ripped off so many times, it's not even funny. I can't tell you how many spin-offs of this I've seen in the mods. The only reason this got through is because of the "lame mastercard commercial reference that nobody finds funny anymore," as #116 so aptly put it. Write something original next time. Anyways, would you even ever spend that much money on a first date? Come on. Get real.
