Today, we live in a society where an Uber Eats order arrives a lot faster than the authorities. To make things worse, the Uber Eats order arrives screwed up as well. FML

Today, after a bad week I ordered a large pizza, ready to binge-watch TV. The delivery guy shows up, I hand him the cash, and he left without giving me my pizza. Exhausted, I watched him leave, like a confused puppy. I called the pizzeria; he'd left the pizza somewhere else, and couldn't re-deliver it because their driver was "done for the night.” FML

In a small town in 1980, it took the fire dept 7 hours to respond to a house fire 2.5 miles away. The house burnt to the ground.

That's because the authorities are understaffed, underfunded, overworked, and disrespected at every turn. Uber drivers though? There's zero requirements, zero regulation, and zero accountability. Not to mention Uber drivers are a dime a dozen, they outnumber police 100 to 1, easily.

The very reasons people claim that they have issues with are caused by the fact that they are understaffed and underfunded. They don't have to earn anything with most of the country, we realize that the actions of a few do not and should not reflect on the rest.
