Some people are really hard to compliment. Like Lindsay Lohan for example. What are you supposed to say? "Hey........... You're really talented at snorting coke..."?

Sorry, OP! If you're unhappy with yourself and how you apparently never get compliments...Why not change something? Complaining about it really only makes it worse. I'm sure you look fine without making any changes, but if changing your look around a little helps out your self-esteem...Then go for it.
