Today, I got yelled at by my dad again for being inside so much instead of outside doing stuff. We are still in a lockdown and are not allowed to leave the house unless its for work or to go to the store. FML

Today, I got yelled at for staying in my room too long; got yelled at for going out of my room; got yelled at for staying at a friend's place. FML
Today, my dad yelled at me for being irresponsible while he watched me fold his laundry. FML
Today, my dad walked in on me using the bathroom. After rushing out, he yelled at me through the door for not locking it. He made up the "no locking the doors inside the house" rule. FML
Today, I got into an argument with my dad in his hotel room. I lost my temper and stormed out onto the balcony for some fresh air, at which point he decided to lock the door behind me, trapping me there for half an hour while he watched TV. FML
Today, my dad grounded me for not having any friends. FML
Today, my dad and mom and I were going out to eat dinner. My dad wanted a romantic dinner just with my mom so he told me to make an excuse not to go. I did, which ended up as a huge fight, grounded and phone taken away. My dad just stood there in the background putting thumbs up. FML
Today, my dad grounded me. Again. First it was my phone, now my watch. How the hell am I supposed to communicate now? FML
Today, my dad forced me to leave my empty shopping cart in the middle of a store, rather than return it to the corral. My dad’s word is law, and all I can think about is how much of an asshole I am. FML
Today, my mother-in-law grounded me because I went to the store in the "dangerous" rain. My husband says that if I don't obey then we won't work out. FML
Today, my dad is infuriating by increasingly asking me to do things around the house, but because he doesn’t like how I do them he yells at me and then does it himself. It’s almost like he cares more about inventing excuses to yell at me than he does to actually get things done. FML

Take up golf indoors. And not putt-putt. You can claim you are doing an outside sport, while observing the law. Then after a crap ton of broken household items, tell him you’ll switch to Wii sports as to limit the games impact on their crap. There, now you just made an out-door recreational activity a safe indoor sport, and can play video games without getting bitched at!

I think Dad wants the house alone with Mom for a while... I have a neighbor who seems to practically live in his garage during the day. I have wondered if it’s to get away from his wife since it’s just the two of them there most of the time.

offer to do a store walk to pick him something up for a couple bucks, you get out of the house, some change, and he gets to feel accomplished for getting you out of the house during a lockdown... or try to explain you cant legally just leave the house because he wants you to...
