Stripped

Today, my car was stolen. I got it back later without the engine, any of the wheels or my brand new radio and speakers. They even took my car mats. FML

Not to be mean or anything but you should've expected that. The engine is probably where they can get the most money by selling it and all the small parts are easy to get rid of. Sorry about that OP, hopefully you were insured so you can file a claim and get some money back

Wait...I'm confused, how did op get his/her car back if almost everything else was missing? Does a car become really light without the engine and stuff? Sorry not a car person. :(

Whoever stole it probably left it somewhere once they striped it. Cops might have found it after that and towed it to OP's house.

What did the insurance company say???? Was it insured yet?? just get a new car with the insurance money,, or bounce the next car payment check,, let the bank come repo it,,

How about the Creedence tapes? Hopefully it was insured for theft, and your insurance company doesn't give you a big hassle about paying off.

How exactly did you get the car back without wheels, engine, and especially floor mats in place?
