I'm lucky i haven't gotten punched, i have had a case of intractable hiccups for the past 13 years. I get hiccup fits every 10-15 minutes. Sorry op, hope you seeked to press charges on them.

That would be a nightmare... I'm so sorry you have to deal with so many hiccups. How long do the fits usually last?

about a minute. mine were caused by a trachea tube placement which hit a nerve on my diaphragm and its been having endless seizures for the past 13 years.

Uncontrollable is very common for hiccups...it's not your decision for them to come up

To cure hiccups, punch in the stomach, not the face. No but seriously, that's not nice. Go see the police and file charges.
