Content almost refused by staff

Today, my rat has come down with what seems like a respiratory infection. My parents refuse to allow me to use the money I got from a job to take him to the vet to get medicine. Because of this if I don't find some way to treat him, he will die which will cause my other rat to become depressed. FML

I'm really sorry. having said that, if you earned it,not is your money isn't it? Not theirs'. I know it's not as black and white or easy as that but you should be able to use it pretty much as you like. You could also try going to the vet and explaining the situation. They might have pity and give the medicine or put some pressure on your parents to pay?
