Today, I went to the local used books store to sell all my college textbooks. I spent several hundred dollars on them in total. I ended up walking out of the shop a pathetic $3.50 richer. FML

Today, I was at work when my mother called. She gave me great news that she had finally cleaned out my room and all those "old and useless" books that I had in there. Those "useless" books that she had just trashed were all antiques and worth about $500 each. There were 27 books in there. FML

Today, I sprayed down some ants in my house. In the sea of ant corpses was a single living ant seemingly cradling a dead one in its arms. I'm convinced I just became the villain in an epic tragedy. Now I have to live with my ant problem because I can't bear to tear another family apart. FML

Today, I got up, curtains still closed, and in the dim light noticed something dark on the floor, which wasn’t there yesterday. I turned on the light to find out what it was. A tiny ant hill. FML

You'll use it one day... Who knows... Maybe you'll need to place it under a table leg that is shorter than the other three. Or maybe you'll run into a taxi driver who is vertically challenged, and will give you a free ride somewhere just for giving him something to sit on. Gotta be optimistic, my friend.

...but you don't get dick for them. I spent $170 on a chem book and they offered me $5 to buy it back. Then sometimes they won't even buy some of them back. I only sold back like 2 books this semester because they weren't buying all of them back.

I hate when teachers make you buy a book and they never use it. I paid $218 for a Biology book and it still has the wrapper on it and the school won't buy it back from me until late July and I bought it last August. College -_-
