Today, during our date, I burst into tears like a nutjob because out of the 10 or so guys I’ve gone out with since I turned 17, literally none of them have been as nice to me as this one has. I got so emotional, we had to leave because of everyone staring at us. FML

If you're 18, this would be weird. On the other hand, if you're 56, things would make a lot more sense. I wonder if your date thinks you have the mental stability to bang.

Re-read the FML. We have no idea how old OP is, just that they've gone out with 10 guys who treated them badly since turning 17. A couple of husbands or long-term boyfriends could add a decade or two.
