Today, I took a rare day off after learning of a Godiva chocolate factory not that far from us. I checked out the website, got the hours, and drove over 25 miles with my wife to get there, only to find out it's for vendors, staff, and their families only. FML

OP here - the place is like Fort Knox. Many levels of security but everyone was polite. Tried my best to con our way in but no luck.

I work for Godiva and I'm so sorry that happened to u best way is to order online or call because all locations are listed and we are downsizing some

I get that it sucks for you, but it is a factory and not a shop, you really should have known to call, I don't know of any kind of food factories that allow non-affiliates inside. And oh the horror at 25 miles, I live in a rural area and the NEAREST small town to me is over 30 miles away, pretty sure you will recover from this ordeal of yours.
