Compassion

Today, we recently had to unplug our mom from life support. We decided it together as a family, but as her medical proxy, I was the one who had to tell the hospital to do it. Now half my family members don’t talk to me, like I decided all on my own to kill her behind their backs. I want my mom back. FML

Sorry for your loss and the epic mountain of shit you have to deal with because half your family is a bunch of assholes.

I’m so sorry you had to go through this. We had to do the same to my father as well.

They're probably scared of you, killer.

I know you're kidding but JFC, too far.

I’m disgusted reading your comment

I know you're an idiot who gets his jollies off of stupid comments, but this time you really have gone too far. VERY poor taste bud....

As a chaotic evil-oriented person, I feel you overstepped. Many times sarcasm can be funny, but in this case, you are just being mean for no good reason, not even humor. It’s like saying racist shit. It’s not funny, it’s mean and serves no purpose. I’m usually the last to decry when someone does stuff like this, but you definitely crossed the line with no possible positive aspect of your comment for anyone.

They will never understand.. you must see it from your mom's point of view.. you gave her peace and that by far is a really courageous thing to do

She was already gone if when you released her body she stopped breathing. You saved her from a shell and did the right thing. The loss will never go away but it will be less of a weight on your chest over time. GL OP

So sorry for your loss OP, and that you had to be the one to voice the choice to the doctors.
