well, i would say it was stolen, yes, because it was 2 miles away. and she lives in Oregon, i do as well, and the chances of it going 2 miles ON IT'S OWN is very slim. so no she didn't forget to apply the brake. it would have hit something else within 2 miles if it rolled on it's own - like a tree or house or something. sorry about your car, hope you had full coverage insurance :)
