Today, after my dad recently had to go sober or face dying within a year, it turns out that without the alcohol, his personality still sucks. He used to be a drunk asshole, but now he’s just an asshole. At least when he was drunk he used to pass out. Now he can be an asshole all night without stopping. FML

When we found him, he was passed out on the toilet with his pants down, penis out, and he’d shit all over himself, the toilet, and the floor. I thought I could trust him just this once, but now he’s dead to me. FML

That called being a “dry drunk.” He should try joining a 12-step program, which focuses on fixing your shitty root issues. It’ll take quite some time, especially if he has a lot of ****** up shit to work on and is the stubborn, self-centered type, but eventually you’ll see major improvements. Good luck, and sorry your dad is a dick :(
