Today, I figured that the reason I'm the black sheep of my family is because I wasn't a teen mom, unlike my sisters, and kept my head on straight. Going no contact isn't an option because we live in a tiny town and I cannot afford to move. FML
Today, I unwittingly saw my supervisor's undies when turning to ask for help from someone else. She wears miniskirts most of the time and there is no way I can unsee this picture. FML
Today, plans I had to move into a new place fell through because the person I was going to move in with suddenly developed health problems. I’m going to be homeless at the end of the year. FML
Today, my manager asked me to escort a VIP and make a fuss over her. Two hours I waited, calling my manager every 10 minutes to check in. He eventually told me he got the date wrong, she’s not coming until Thursday. He then docked my pay for the two hours I was “stood around doing nothing.” FML
Today, I live in a tiny apartment with my two children, post-divorce. My mother-in-law thought the best thing to do would be to come in while I was at work and fill every single surface, including my tiny kitchen, with toys. Huge toys, toys with tiny pieces, and lots that make noise. FML
Today, my boyfriend proposed to me at his own sister's funeral. Not only did I say no, but I'm seriously rethinking our relationship. FML
Today, my dad, who only recently came back into my life, decided somewhere in his booze-damaged brain, that I still needed parenting like a teenager. He tried to take my car keys for staying out late, tried to ground me for drinking, and disapproves of me dating. I’m 27 and own my own home. FML
Today, my wife is mad at me because I didn’t let our son win at Mario Kart Racing and he cried. I’m sorry, but it’s almost impossible to let a kid win at Mario Kart when he drives his character off every cliff, runs into every obstacle, and pulls 180s to drive down the track in the wrong direction. FML
Today, my idiot friends set me up on a blind date. It was about to go well, until her glass eye fell out onto my hand. FML
Today, I found out that multiple people have access to my dead friend’s FB account and have seen every single thing I’ve tagged his account on, sent to his Messenger, etc., Which is mostly spicy novel accounts that do giveaways (where you tag a friend to enter). Thanksgiving might be interesting… FML
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me for saying for the umpteenth time, "I still don't care!" when he brought up some podcasters divorcing in a conversation about our actual friends. He even mentioned the podcast crew being like actual family. Go live with them, then! FML
Today, I'm unmotivated, lazy slob who keeps screwing up at work. For half the month. The other half, I'm a hyperactive, super fast worker, who finishes everything, and greedily picks up more tasks. Between the Jekyll and Hyde, my coworkers no longer trust me. Why am I like this? FML
Today, my husband looked at me and said, "Baby, you're growing a mustache. You want me to edge it up?" No, I don't have that much. FML
Today, I was stopped at a light when a woman approached, asking for help to buy food. I told her I only had a dollar, but she could have it. After I gave it to her, she stepped back, held it up, then proceeded to tear it into pieces, before walking away while calling me a cheapskate. Really? FML
Today, I had a haircut booked for 5 p.m. and arrived ten minutes early. The salon was closed, so I checked the confirmation text. I'd booked it for 5 p.m. but on the previous day. I ended up going home with the same shite haircut I'd been trying to fix. FML
Today, I found some guy on the internet called “@GlazerOf(my username)” who was really sweet and complimented my art. I cried in public from happiness and appreciation because of it, and everyone thought that I had just experienced a breakup. FML
Today, I made a big pot of soup for the week and portioned it into containers. So, on my very first day trying this out, I took one to work and heated it up. I'd somehow not put the lid on properly before putting it in my bag. I spent my lunch break cleaning soup chunks out of my backpack. FML
Today, my poor wife injured her back so severely she can no longer stand or pull up her pants by herself. I've been helping her as much as possible, but she wants to do everything herself, which I get. That was, until she started her period. So much blood… FML
Today, the daughter of a patient called me, again, on my direct line after I repeatedly told her she had to go through the secretary for non-urgent matters. She said, "OMG, are you serious?" and hung up on me mid-sentence while I was talking about her father. FML
