elizabethcas tells us more.
he kept the fare running for the fifteen minutes I was standing there bent over in pain from having my ribs near broken, it cost me more than it would have to go home, I then had to pay for the hospital bill, all because he ran a red light.

That sucks. I know of some cab drivers who will do anything for some extra money.
Sue for whiplash.
get out and walk
I pay it and take another cab
I'd say "**** you", throw him a 20, and then leave.
Because that accomplishes...so much.
I hope you didn't pay. Could also sue for psychological trama.
I think it's one of the few words in their vocabulary that they know when to use it.
3, why the **** would someone sue a cab driver for getting in an accident, especially if he wasn't even at fault. Please get the **** out of the U.S. if you can't stop perpetuating the stereotypes that we sue everybody. You are embarrassing all of the normal people in the country.
It is disappointing when stereotypes play themselves out.
7 because it's one of this few words they overuse it way to much…
well legally any passengers should get insurance info of the drivers involved so that if there are any medical problems related to accident, they can get covered- reasonable. suing really isn't necessary, just don't pay. if they give u trouble, call the owner of the taxi company, or if they own it then call whoever licenses them. I'd assume you'd need to pay what the fare should have been but not the time spent in the accident. ydi if u paid.
Stereotypes are there for a reason, like how black people can't swim. 70% if black people have little to no ability to swim. Stereotypes are very American
Grow up. stereotyping is for kids in middle and high school, I'd like to think we are all adults here. No, not every American goes around suing people. Most people do it for legitimate reasons. That being said, don't assume ALL Americans are sue happy just because of the few pathetic excuses of people you've seen or heard about.
Kayybyy this is fml. If you want a happy happy joy joy non stereotyping website I can give you the web address of panzy ass.com. However I think all mental pain and suffering lawsuits are pussy, lame excuses for us Americans to get money. Its a bunch of bullshit. Love you though with my heart and my penis, Logan
hahaha priceless u dick

It's called a cocai-- I mean "coffee" break.
Y-- I mean, no. Of course not. That is a ridiculous suggestion, ma'am.
screw that! If you actually paid him, then totally ydi!
Question: I could be wrong because I've only ridden in a cab maybe five times my entire life, but don't most meters charge for miles driven, not minutes? How would being in a accident add to your fare if the driver didn't go anywhere extra?
When the cab is in park the meter starts timing I think.
actually that makes sense now, cause douchebags will tell the cabbie to "wait here"
u should only had to pay up to that point of the crash;
he kept the fare running for the fifteen minutes I was standing there bent over in pain from having my ribs near broken, it cost me more than it would have to go home, I then had to pay for the hospital bill, all because he ran a red light.
I'd have called the cops... that doesn't seem legal... at all
I'd take his ass to court for my medical bills since he ran the red light. I'd also try to get my cab fare back at the same time.
If he was at fault, he is legally libable. sue him and the cab company
