Today, my roommate, who knows I have anxiety issues about the stove being on, left the stove burning when she went to work. For 4 hours. By the time I woke up, the whole place smelled like gas and her 2 idiot cats were playing way too close. Her response? "It's not like I did it on purpose." FML

you had gas filling up for four hours!? could that not have caused an explosion if you'd lit something. that is highly irresponsible and dangerous. if you were breathing on the has for four hours OP it might be worth just consulting a doctor just to make sure you're ok, as I imagine it could be dangerous at times so just get checked up to be sure.
