Im the OP. Here's a bit more information on what happened, as the fml format only allows 300 characters. We were going to a Slayer and Megadeath show, so I dont know if anyone who said "bring your purse, der," has ever been to a heavy metal show, but its not exactly the safest place to be carrying around a bag as it can easily be lost/stolen/ripped off of you in the craziness of the mosh pit. Also, it was Barcelona, which is notorious for pick pockets/thieves. The reason I gave my boyfriend all my money/ticket is because we live togather, have been dating for a long time, obviously I trust him, and know that he can take care of himself as he is trained in JuJitsu and MMA. Not that kind of guy you would pick pocket. And for whomever said " Why didnt you just follow him, der," well that would be because his stupid ass left me while I was in the bathroom and he was suppose to be waiting outside holding my drink. I did have my key to the hotel room, which was my only life line, and eventually found a cab driver nice and sympathetic enough to take me back to the hotel free of charge, because at this point I was cleary distraut. Yes, my boyfriend was selfish, moronic, careless and a being a drunk bafoon, but the story has a happy ending, I'm alive and well. ( And this was the first time anything like this has ever happened.)

You obviously trust your boyfriend, which is good, but... you should have walked with your bag, especially if you know that your boyfriends drinks. So, lesson learned. :/

Flying to another country for a concert isn't exactly uncommon... I'm flying to Ireland in the summer from America for two front-row Bon Jovi concerts, and I see nothing wrong with it, and neither do the other 200 people who signed up for the travel package...

My gf gave me a challenge 2 live aday without her& if i did it she would love me even more. I agreed & I didnt talk to her 4 a day without knowing she only had 24hrs 2 live because she had cancer.I went to her house the next day tears falling from my eyes as I saw her laying in a coffin with a note on the side that had my name on it.It said "you did it babe now you can do it everyday"

As touching as that story is.... 1. If she had cancer and was down to the point where she knew she only had about a day to live, it would/should have been obvious to everyone who interacted with her. 2. Wakes and funerals don't happen the day after someone dies. It takes a little while to get the deceased properly preserved, made-up, and dressed for presentation. 3, That story has nothing to do with the FML or any of the comments and therefore should not be here.
Everyone on here keeps saying to dump him, I can't say I don't agree, but I personally think you should stay with him just to make sure he doesn't breed. Don't need another one of 'that kind of stupid' around.

I highly doubt that it only took him 5 minutes to get drunk. More likely, he started drinking before the show, and was so drunk that he left the show only 5 minutes after it started.

Who the hell is crazy enough to put all their money and their tickets in their wallet when they travel? And, even more, who is stupid enough to say so? Furthermore, why would you be naive enough to go with that and have no other means of support. I vote FAIL all the way around.
