Today, it's been a week since I found an egg in the street that had seemingly fallen out of a nest. I'd bought a cage and an expensive incubator lamp to save it. It's thus been a week that I've been trying to save a mouldy old potato. FML

I've seen a lot of eggs, and a lot of potatoes in my life. I can't say I've ever been doubtful at to which one is which.

I don't think I'd ever confuse an egg with a moldy potato and I thought you were supposed to leave abandoned eggs or at least call a wildlife expert rather than remove them from where they are.
