Today, I went to the hairdresser on a spur of the moment decision to get a quick wash and cut. Forty-five painful minutes and $180 later, I honestly don't know if anything was actually done to my hair. FML

There's no way that you walked in, asked for a wash and trim, and "ended up" spending $180. You consenting to a service that didn't have a dramatic effect isn't an FML. Your spending $180 on ANY hair service IS. I don't get my hair done professionally very often but the last time I got a cut, color, wash combo, it still cost me under $100, so either make smarter stylist choices for your budget, or being more vocal about what you want and get your money's worth. Sheesh

I always hate going to hair salons because most of the time, they either don't listen or they're just not good at what they do but yet it still costs a fortune... I do everything at home because I'd rather be disappointed with my own work than someone else's 🤷🏼‍♀️

Is your hair dresser also a “life coach”?

I've never met a girl who doesnt watch the hair dresser as they "clip her ends".
