Oh god OP I'm so sorry, that sounds awful. Hope you feel better soon!
I had the same thing happen to me when I was pregnant.. it'll go away..
ask your OB for omneprezol (pepcid) to take daily. not harmful to the baby and helps soooo much!!! in the mean time, a teaspoon of baking soda in half a cup of warm water. tastes nasty and salty but will neutralize the acid.
That anti acid is amazing and really does work after taking it. I also never knew baking soda helped. I learned something new today. Thanks.
I've been belching fire since I was about 12. Get an incline pillow for your bed, a few week's supply of Prilosec, and learn to avoid foods that trigger acid reflux. If you're lucky it'll abate on its own following your pregnancy. Good luck and congratulations!
Better to see a doctor about getting put on any medication, when pregnant. Too many things can cause issues.
There's no way this is an almost FML. No ...way
Zantac and tums! Been there 3x it helps.
My doctor said it was safe to take up to 300mg of Zantac as well. Of course get your OB's opinion first.
If you can drink a can coke or Dr Pepper and eat regular m&ms it will help with the heart burn hope this helps
good luck! I don't miss it and I have 17 more weeks to go :( . maybe see if you're doctor can give you something for it?
