Today I was preparing to hop into the shower when the fire alarm goes off. I rushed out immediately in nothing more than a robe that I had to hold down because it was windy outside. As soon as I reached safety, they said it was a false alarm and it was ok to go back inside. FML

I would feel bad except I've had to drag my two babies out of bed, wearing only thin pajamas, in the middle of a cold night, while on vacation, because someone burnt popcorn in their room. We were outside for a good half hour at least. Oh, and it was windy.

Today, I discovered that my work's new phone system automatically takes people off hold the very second you pick up the phone. I discovered this after picking up the phone and complaining to my workmates about the annoying customer I had on the line for a full minute, all while he listened. FML

Today, my house got its annual visit from a cat that lives down the street. My dogs did nothing to chase it away, and it marked its territory. I have a very sensitive nose, but I can't find where the smell is coming from for the life of me. I am also highly susceptible to migraines, and cat piss triggers them. FML

Today, I received a threatening DM from my so-called best friend, telling me that she wouldn't be calling off her wedding next week, despite everyone telling her to postpone due for health and safety reasons, and would claw my eyes out if I stayed in quarantine with my sick mum instead of coming.
