Your best friend has no obligation to invite you. And it's weird to invite a friend on a vacation. Do you know how expensive every person is on a vacation?

BOO HOO. I'm a little snowflake and deserve everything my friend has. GROW UP...you want your "Dream Vacation" SAVE FOR IT AND GO! Quit expecting to have EVERYTHING HANDED TO YOU

Most of the time if someone is inviting a friend to go on a vacation with them it's with the understanding that each person is paying for themselves.

Maybe it was their dream vacation too? Save up some money OP and go on your own vacation if you want to go so bad, honestly your friend really did no wrong and maybe they will bring you a souvenir if they're nice!

5--Your friends are not required to do everything with you. Especially if OP can't foot the bill, which we don't know if they can or not. If they can, I don't see why they wouldn't be going. Could be that the friend is going with family or something, in which case they don't have to invite OP either. OP can go alone some other time. Breaking up a friendship because someone had the means to do what you want and you can't is shallow and childish.

You should tell Clio and Hildegard that!

Or maybe they like the destination too and OP is being a spoiled brat instead of being happy for them.

Or maybe OP's friend has arranged to go with other friends? Or maybe even with family? I think it's ridiculous to suggest that she would go on this vacation just to spite the OP. Just because they're best friends doesn't mean they have to do everything together.

Now tell me again WHY you're upset? Did you really expect your friend to invite you on their vacation?

This is definitely a first world problem you have here. Your friend wanted to go on vacation and they didn't invite you. Doesn't matter where it's to, even if it was the one place you've always wanted to go. People, and "Best Friends" are allowed to have a private life!

Maybe they thought you couldn't afford it, maybe this was their one chance at getting away, Maybe they knew you'd be busy during their time off. Maybe you brought it up so much and never did anythin

I don't think OP expected her best friend to pay for her trip, maybe she just expected her to invite her so they would go together. A friend of mine got in a fight once with one of her friends because they were planning to take a trip together and my friend took a trip with me instead. Maybe OP and her friend discussed the trip before and it was implied that they might go together, and now her friend is going on the same trip without telling OP about it first. That makes more sense to me than OP

Jesus. Some of you guys are being harsh. Maybe op has the money but just hasn't actually been able to go & now bff won't let op go with? I'd say dump that friend & take a rad vacation by yourself.

12: If OP has the money to go then they can go by themselves or with someone else. The friend isn't obligated to invite them.

Your parents really gave you every pony you wanted, didn't they op?
