Today, I accidently found my mother's porno videos online. Apparently, my mother used to be a porn star, which would explain why she abandoned my dad and I 27 years ago. I can't get the image out of my head, and I'm embarrassed. FML.

In this world, it's hard enough living with the consequences of the choices we make for ourselves, let alone the consequences of choices others make. Please, be kind to yourself. This affects you, yes, but you had no role in the choices your mother made. Are you happy to be alive? That's great! So, on some level, you have to be grateful to your mother for giving you this lifetime. That's all. You don't have to embrace her choices, defend her choices, or in any other way feel embarrassed about her choices. That's on her, not on you!
