Tasha_1996 tells us more.
Hello everyone. I didn't know my FML got posted until now. This was more to express what an idiot I am than to be told I'm an idiot. For people asking questions, I'm 16 and live in Saskatchewan. A small town where there's **** all to do. There is nothing wrong with my mothers parenting, I respect her for coming to get me and grounding me. I was grounded for another month after this happened and am going to addictions councelling starting the New year. I was out last night, first night off of grounding again and didn't have a sip of alcohol. Originally, I wasn't going to comment. But I figured you guys deserved an update. Yes I deserved it.

I've never seen so many ydi votes that really says it all.
I don't think this is that big of a deal, and I really don't think they're whining... everyone makes mistakes let's just be greatful she called someone instead of trying to walk or drive or something dangerous. Maybe this time they'll learn -shrugs- everyone's different you know?
How old are you? Under 21 then you are an idiot and deserve more than a grounding.
Stop being stupid
I'm appalled by all these generalizations. Older generations did stupid shit like this all the time. Back then, cigarettes were cool along with underage drinking and drugs. There hasn't been a change in stupidity. But kids are getting smarter. While smoking among youth still persists, it's declined greatly due to their knowledge of the after effects and current morals. It's easy to just look down on the young and say they're the worst. But really, was your generation that much better? We have idiots/morons everywhere.
If you're still getting grounded by your mom, you're probably not old enough to drink.
A) you shouldn't be grounded for asking your mother to pick you up, would she rather you get in a car with a drunk? And b) IM FROM SASKATCHEWAN

Good for you! Most kids just go off about how unfair their parents are instead of realizing that actions have consequences and that parents are giving much easier consequences than life does. Good luck at kicking the habit!
I'm glad you learned your lesson.
Glad you're doing something about it. Hope it's going well!
For what it's worth. I'm glad you are turning your life around

If you're old enough to still be grounded, you're not old enough to drink. Ydi.
Grounding is usually to teach you a lesson and not be bad. She probably thought you learnt your lesson but, clap clap, you proved her wrong.
