Someone thinks highly of themselves

Today, on my first day, I tried to ask my new boss a question, she visibly recoiled and actually gave me the, “I already have a boyfriend” line, and shut her door in my face, then locked it. I still need my question answered before I can start working, so I guess I’ll just sit and do nothing. FML

What a dick move hitting on your boss on Day 1! Keep it in your pants until a real opportunity presents itself, like a business trip or the company Christmas party. Anyways, for your first two weeks of work, you need to arrange your desk aids. The exact placement of your stapler, tape dispenser, scissors, paper clips (and/or, gulp, binder clips!), rubber bands and pencil cup is critical for your productivity going forward.
