I like cats, but I think if I were forced to sit through a whole lesson dedicated to someone's pet kitty I would be immensely annoyed. One of my University lecturers had to do a lecture on cats (and their domestication throughout history) so decided to spend 20 mins talking about her own little fluffball. I think some cat owners are far too excited to shove their cats in your face :/ ruins it for the 'normal' cat owners!
