I've had similar happen, somebody insisted it was dollars off not percent. They had to go grab the sign to show me too, didn't change the fact that it was percentage off not dollars but people are ignorant and they just see what the want to see and don't care. Retail sucks. FYL.

I did retail for years I feel your pain. I had one lady argue with me when she was buying stuff that was a dollar that day it wasn't supposed to be what I was punching in but half off the original price. I was like do you want it half off or for a dollar?
