Today, all the roads going in and out of my town are closed due to flooding. I work 3 towns away, and was threatened with termination if I didn't come to work. FML

if it's a decent job that you want to keep and they do fire you for that, you can sue for wrongful termination

this is exactly the reason I started looking for a new job this weekend. that and my supervisor can't even do they're job, let alone anyone else's, so she tried punishing me for calling out
